The 31st Furniture Fair Kicks Off in September – Core Highlights, Dates & Venue Guide
Taking place each September in Pudong, the much-anticipated 31st China International Furniture Fair (FURNITURE CHINA 2026) will run from September 8 to 11 together with Modern Shanghai Design Week at two venues: Shanghai World Expo Exhibition & Convention Center and Shanghai New International Expo Centre. Boasting 350,000 sq.m exhibition space, the fair gathers more than 3,200 global home furnishing brands and expects over 200,000 professional trade visitors.
The two venues have clear positioning. The Expo Center opens September 5–8 for soft furnishings and original designer works, while the New International Expo Centre operates September 8–11, displaying household, commercial and outdoor furniture as well as raw material supplies, covering the entire home furnishing industry chain. It serves as a top sourcing platform for distributors, designers, engineering purchasers and overseas buyers with factory-direct goods and new product launches.
